NORU editions: the launch

The first NORU collection: eleven pieces of furniture and lighting by nine designers, from the BKF chair of 1938 to the Orma armchair of 2023. Each one was chosen for the same reasons—honest materials, details worked out by hand, and a form that has outlasted the trends around it.

Most were drawn in Barcelona, and many are still made the way they were first made: leather cut and stitched in a workshop, cherry wood bent with steam, parchment fitted to a wooden frame. Several are made to order, so they take a few weeks to arrive.

This is where NORU begins: fewer, better things for a calmer home. A small, considered selection of objects to live with for years, and the standard for every collection that follows.
